HISTORIC RESTORATION, RENOVATION AND REMODELING

Historic renovation/restoration in Monkton, Maryland. This home was built around the turn of the last century and left vacant for the last 60 years. The front porch will be removed and rebuilt and made structurally sound. A new covered porch will be the new entrance to the kitchen. The existing siding will be repaired and where needed replaced. The existing kitchen will be removed and replaced with an entirely new setup, including a prep island. The existing stairs that are in the kitchen will be replaced with a new half bath, and a new closet will be constructed in the foyer.

On the second floor, the existing bathroom will be removed and replaced with a new master bath and walk-in closet to create a master suite. A new ¾ bath with laundry facilities will be created below the new location of the stairs to the attic. New closets will be constructed in each of the other bedrooms.

New energy efficient windows and doors will be installed as well.
